Sunhan Anderson, DPT BSc

Sunhan is proud to be a member of the One Step Ahead Mobility team, and has a variety of qualifications and experience treating many conditions.

Sun (as she is known in the clinic) completed her doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2006 at the University of Minnesota. She is certified in: the LSVT BIG program for treatment of people with Parkinson's; Rock Steady Boxing; and has the Advanced Orthopaedic certification from the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute.

Sun enjoys the challenges of working with clients with various issues. Her main focus is on the rehabilitation of patients with neurological diagnoses like Parkinson's, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and Ataxia.

Also highly experienced in treating orthopaedic problems, Sun works with clients who have sports injuries, strains/sprains, post-operative and arthritic conditions. In addition to helping individual patients, Sun also leads some of our weekly group exercise classes for people with Parkinson's.

In Sun's own words, "I strive to promote an active lifestyle and help patients return to activities that bring joy in their lives by providing evidence-based treatment."

My Physiotherapy Story

My LSVT BIG training was a rewarding and enjoyable experience. My posture has improved a great deal. I am walking with more confidence. My movements are less stiff. I am getting in and out of the car with more ease.
