Aviva has been a part of the One Step Ahead Mobility team since 2017.

 

Aviva graduated with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. She has expertise in treating neurological and geriatric conditions including Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke, dementia and balance/mobility issues. 

 

Her post-graduate training includes LSVT BIG for Parkinson’s, sensory rehabilitation following stroke, functional electrical stimulation, and osteoporosis courses. Aviva is also a Registered ADP Authorizer for Ambulation Aids.

She has always led an active lifestyle and entered the physiotherapy profession for this reason. Growing up closely with her grandparents, Aviva saw the effects of aging and age-related conditions and became very interested in working this area.

 

Aviva helps her clients restore and maintain their mobility, independence, and improve their overall quality of life.

When Aviva's not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
