Angela Morra earned her Master of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto after receiving her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Integrative Biology from the University of Toronto (Scarborough Campus).

 

Angela has a keen interest in neurological physiotherapy. This interest was sparked early on when she was a student and had a clinical placement in the Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury Services department at Toronto Rehab.

 

After graduating, she sought opportunities to work in neurological physiotherapy. Some of these experiences included working in in-patient rehab settings at Providence Healthcare and Toronto Rehab.

 

Now, Angela is excited for the opportunity to continue her work as a Registered Neurological Physiotherapist in a different part of the continuum of care at One Step Ahead Mobility.

 

Angela has taken various continuing education courses focused on enhancing her skills as a neurological physiotherapist. These include courses in the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Approach (NDT). Angela completed her certificate training in NDT in 2015, as well as advanced courses in NDT related to the lower extremity/gait training and the upper extremity.

 

When Angela is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes keeping busy with her two young boys.
